Christmas Angel Program
Since 2017, NCPG has been proud to work with the Salvation Army on their annual Christmas Angel program. This great Phoenix tradition has been providing children in need with Christmas smiles for over 30 years.
The Salvation Army believes that every child deserves to know the joy of a new toy at Christmas. To help make the holidays brighter for the less fortunate, we’ve provided the opportunity for NCPG members to provide Christmas gifts to families in need throughout the Phoenix Valley.
Last year, NCPG adopted 245 children, providing 545+ gifts for a value of nearly $20,000. That makes our organization one of the top contributors to this program across the entire Valley.
Taking part is easy to do (detailed instructions provided with each tag annually):
- Stop by the Christmas Angel tree at one of the November NCPG meetings
- Take a tag off the tree
- Find the gift.
- Then return it to our volunteers at the designated December meeting
Salvation Army does the rest, from wrapping it to getting it into the hands of a child who might otherwise go without. Make a BIG difference in the life of a child this Christmas!
